I cried during my yoga class!

I have never been to a yoga class, let alone a three day retreat. For me, this was going to be a challenge but one I accepted with an open mind and open heart. Guess what happened? After three days of yoga and meditation I was left physically and emotionally revived. My body and soul, regenerated. I felt engulfed by an aura of bliss and I adorned a constant smile. Exuding happiness and reflecting love. What a wonderful feeling. How did this happen?  Yoga touched my soul. The most moving of my experiences was Yin Yoga with Nik Robson . I cried.  Yes, I cried! Whilst holding one of the dragon poses, a little movie played out in my head. My younger brother was there, strawberry blonde bushy hair and caramel coloured freckles, smiling and laughing as we played with a toy phone we had made with two cups and a piece of string. I was recently invited to experience Sakura, a bed and  breakfast and health spa tucked among the rolling green hills of the Waikato district just outside of Cambridge, New Zealand .  The official opening will be in August 2016 but here  is your preview of the sumptuous interiors of this wonderful retreat, lovingly built and decorated by owners, Lloyd and Gwen.  There is an overwhelming feeling of light and space when you first enter Sakura . It is open and spacious yet warm and comfortable. The Gourmet Kitchen Make yourself a cup of tea and sit in wonder at the forest scenery just outside. Sunrises and sunsets are glorious here so you may catch one of those as well. Bedrooms You will have a difficult time picking your favourite bedroom. Each is opulent and luxurious in its own right.  See what you think. The beds are superb quality and I personally vouch for their comfort.
